
Amanda Louise Holden (born 16 February 1971) is an English actress as well as a media personality and singer. She has been an adjudicator in Britain's Got Talent, an ITV talent show since 2007. She also co-hosts the Heart Breakfast radio show with Jamie Theakston on weekday mornings. Holden was born in Portsmouth in Hampshire. She spent most of her childhood in Bishop's Waltham. At nine she was a member of the Bishop's Waltham Little Theatre Company. Holden was also on TV in three series of Kiss Me Kate, starring Caroline Quentin and Chris Langham. She was also part of three ITV series The Grimleys and Celeb with Harry Enfield episodes. A Boxing Day special Agatha Christie's Marple episode "4.50 From Paddington" which starred Geraldine McEwan as well as John Hannah. In Ready When You Are Mr. McGill by Jack Rosenthal she appeared alongside Bill Nighy, Tom Courtenay, and Aleha Dixon. Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams are judges on Britain's Got Talent. She was a judge on Britain's Got Talent between 2006 until 2006.
