Jana Kramer bio

Jana Kramer, an actor and singer-songwriter who specializes in country pop music and songwriting gained prominence on TV when she became Alex during the final three seasons of One Tree Hill. Her first few releases as a singer-songwriter appeared on the episodes of the series helping her debut album of the same name into the Top 20 of the Billboard 200. Thirty One from 2015 reached the top ten spot. The last decade saw she appeared on Dancing with the Stars as also in television movies as well as several TV shows. The singer also released some singles which were not albums. The year was 2021 and the single Doubting Voices was released. Jana Rae Kramer was born and brought up within Rochester Hills Michigan. She spent her childhood listening to country music, and eventually went on to explore a career in recording. But, she made her acting debut as a teenager in 2002's indie horror movie Dead/Undead. Over the years she was on numerous shows including All My Children and CSI: NY before landing the recurring role as Noelle Davenport in NBC's Friday Night Lights the 2nd season (2007-2008). Kramer was later cast to portray Portia Ranson on 90210 (2008-2009) and Brooke Manning, in Entourage (2009), before she was cast in One Tree Hill by the CW as Alex Dupre. Kramer remained with the One Tree Hill team until about half-way through the final season (2012). Jana Kramer Kramer was a part of the cast of One Tree Hill from 2009 through 2012. The actress had signed an agreement with Elektra Records, and she introduced her new contemporary country tune I Won't give Up on a One Tree Hill 2011 episode. In 2012, it came out as a single on Jana Kramer - her first album. The track ranked fifth among Billboard Top Country Albums. Kramer continued to appear in films like Heart of the Country 2013 or Country Crush 2016 which would attract her followers. The second album of Kramer's Thirty One was released by Warner Music Nashville on October 15, 2015. I Got the Boy (a Top Five country single) and Steven Tyler's duet on Aerosmith contributed to the album's ability to achieve even greater success which saw it reach the top three spot in the Billboard 200. Two months on Dancing with the Stars 23rd episode ended up with her finishing fourth. That same year, the song Feels Like Christmas featuring Straight No Chaser was an enormous adult contemporary success.
