Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue ellis-taylor, actress, American stage and screen actress and producer. Her most well-known work is as a film actress for her performances in Ray Undercover Brother (Ray Undercover Brother) and The Mentalist. She graduated with the B.A. with a major in African-American Studies, from Brown University. Her MFA is in acting from Tisch School of acting at New York University. Aunjanue Lisa Ellis is a producer as well as an American actor active in the theatre, television and film. Her career in acting began at the theater. Then she appeared on various television series, independent films and mainstream movies. Her most well-known roles were in the role of Miranda Shaw (ABC's Quantico) as well as in BET's epic The Book of Negroes. The two series garnered critical acclaim, but she also took home a variety of accolades. In 1995, she was the first to appear as Ariel on stage as Ariel in The Tempest. Stage credits comprise Come and Gone Drowning Crow as well as Seeking the Genesis, a Broadway production of Joe Turner. Her film career is highlighted through her performances in Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express, and The Help. The role she played as a regular in ABC's drama police series High Incident earned her praises.
